Merry Christmas 2021

Dec 25, 2021

The day has arrived! The cards given, gifts wrapped (and maybe unwrapped by now). It is Christmas! What a meaningful day to celebrate.

Inspiration:

This year I decided to reuse an illustration that has a lot of meaning for me, but in a new way. In fact, you may recognize it from last year when I wrote about it in the post Studying Grief, Unexpected Loss, and Christmastime: Surpise Inspiration which shares all about how that illustration came into being.

Christmas Stars:

While this illustration already had stars, what I didn’t realize was that apparently in Belgium (where I grew up for part of my childhood) the star is a prominent feature at Christmas. In the original I did want to feature a star, but the European connection wasn’t intentional, but a lovely coincidence!

This Christmas I’m so grateful for each one of you and your support. Have a safe, healthy, and joyful Christmas as best as is possible for this year.
